strong Durable. Nice words for selling blue denim thingies without sleeves. I love the bricks and the weathering paint. This is such a perfect shot and isn't it funny how "old style" people are always painted kinda funny. I particularly like the way the guy's legs just fade away and disappear, rather like the kid in the movie "Paper House" who was unable to walk because he started out as a drawing of a kid in the window of a house, but the one who drew him never drew his legs. I have no idea where that came from, but there it is. This is a great shot.

What a wonderful wall. The lamp adds to the feeling of an early 20th century advertisement. A terrific image. I'm surprised anything like this still exists on the west coast.

Great photo! I wonder if they still make them? Oshkosh made the best overalls in my opinion but eventually changed their design of the upper pocket works and they stopped being comfortable and useful. Now you cannot get them at all and the older designs are selling in the used market for very high prices, but they are hard to obtain in wearable condition.

Love this old-style advertising; what a perfectly framed shot, with that lamp post anchoring the right. Great colour and texture and light, of course, as you always do!

I've thought of posting a shot of this wall (other than the one you mentioned, whose main subject wasn't really the wall at all), but now that you've done such a bang up job of it, I don't need to. No worries about this wall being lost to development, as the entire downtown area of Jacksonville has been designated as a National Historic Landmark since 1966. So unless a natural disaster like an earthquake brings it down, it's likely to remain standing for many years to come...
