Description
This was one that I did during the closed beta for Octane Render for Carrara, testing out using replication to achieve the fur effect on the hood.
Thanks for looking,
Phil

Ah, you Southern Hemisphere people!
;)
Marvelous portrait . I love her expression.
Fur is looking pretty good but I really like the skin tone!
oh ..no.. not yet Brrrr... haha
Fur is awesome on this. Another nice one, and getting ready for winter too!
Very nice.
Great work!
Lovely portrait.
Excellent character. I guess we well see more of her!
Gorgeous, love the fur on the hood, outstanding work!
Lovely image Phil. I'm interested in the Carrara Octane plugin. Question I have is it's obviously a great renderer but is it any faster?
It can depend on the scene, but in general, yes a lot faster!
Many thanks. Fur looks great
It looks wonderful Phil!!! What a dreamy portrait!! The fur looks really realistic!! Great work!
What a beauty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great skin and that technique worked very well for fur. Makes me think it'd work for simple, short hair styles and beards.
It could well do!
Sure is. Great work.
So the furry stuff isnt Carrara hair? How did you achieve that?
A beautiful portrait! Is it that time already!
excellent fur and render and an early reminder too ;)
Wonderful stuff. Been playing with Octane for Carrarra myself. Having trouble with some of the shaders, but I'm sure they'll get that sorted.
