Description
Taken in Rio Rico, Arizona, back in April, when all the new spring growth was upon the desert. I was a happy clicker when i spotted this young cactus :) It is always a pleasure to me when I spot a heart in nature.
Here is the first time I spotted a heart in nature: Zinnia's Heart...

Superb capture Melinda. God bless.
What a very cool find, and an excellent capture; happy birthday to you! I'm closing in on my own, but I think I'll give them up. They're making me old!
I have decided to embrace each birthday, it is better to have them and celebrate than to not have them ;) Thank you for the wishes :)
Nice backlighting and focus in this desert capture, Melinda. Indeed, a flaming heart, but also prickly. Rather that than thorny, I always say. And, as you coyly requested, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you.
:) Thank you, Harry.
