Description
Tuckton Bournemouth.
There are lots of rather neglected tenders lying around all along the bank mat Wick Ferry.
These above the gunwhales are usually called crutches, holes cut in the gunwhales are called rowlocks.

well seen; pretty composition and fine colors
Wonder whose oars have been in there??
A few tales if this could talk. Great capture Andrea!
Very nice - great contrast of colors and an interesting composition
You be careful you don't get a rollicking for calling it a crutch!! Nice pic Andrea.
DAVER2112 just posted a Soundgarden photo who sang Rusty Cage......so this is quite fitting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBZs_Py-1_0
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Nice shot, this could be a small crutch from a Dali painting.
Sounds like a good name for a pub, especially for wounded sailors. In fact it does bear a certain resemblance to a peg leg. Nice composition and color.
It looks so cool against that aqua below. Well captured!!
Great shot !
Ahhh ... here in the PNW it's an oarlock. By whatever name, this shot is right up my alley! Love it!
Fabulous capture interesting to see the lack of care in the painting as well
Well it sure makes a change from locks.
I like the textures and the tape - lets not forget the missing bolt!
