Description
Logo created for a science fiction book series. I know it wasn't what the author had in his head, but he loved my interpretation of his concept (his concept: subdued silver like a military badge a starburst with a infinity symbol on top with a sword thrust up through the starburst).
I think he had more of a military patch in mind, but I didn't think that followed the theme well enough, so I extrapolated, lol.
I studied several Marine badges from different countries and somehow this popped into my head ... looking NOTHING like the badges I was looking at, lol.
I'll add the blurb for book one to the next posting, featuring the cover art and design :D

Interesting logo, with infinite sign and like a planet behind. With idea of sci-fi, it's a galactic story, no?
This is absolutely wicked cool! At first I thought that the sword was a syringe and that we were looking forward to MedSciFi this would be cool if he were to go that route as well
Nice impact love to see the whole artwork pretty cool Aidana!!!
splendid concept !!!
I like the logo but the textures of letters and planet are strange and unexpected for me !...
Good, lol. Unexpected creates curiosity ...

Shining done.

Very cool work!
Another great illustration! Took me a moment to realize this was not one word with the sword representing the letter I. Made it more memorable, which is the entire point, wonderful work!
Well done. I know just how hard it can be to create stuff like that
