Description
A bempton cliffs shot of the master divers - Gannets. This one has worked hard on his take off style too! The pose is partly from the updraught coming from the sea. When the wind hits the huge vertical cliffs even heavy birds don't have to try too hard to get airborn! Having a 6ft wingspan must help though!

Stunning capture! I love these birds; they are so pretty, with their blue eyes. And I always chuckle when I remember the Monty Python skit about the bookstore...the finicky customer wanting the abridged bird book without the gannet "because they wet their nests." ROFLMAO!
