Description
Last Friday our dogwalk was on this Forestry Commission plantation just north of Bournemouth Airport at Hurn.
It was the site of a WWII RAF camp, not least because it is crowned by a level plateau giving 360 degree views of the surrounding area.

This photo is part of the walk up to the top, before the path gets rather steep.
I may have to make a montage of more photos from this day, which Brigitte, my friend Christel and I all enjoyed as did the dogs.

A chance to explore woodland, then a view appears from nowhere. That always excites me when it happens! A wonderful view and shot! It looks a lot more mixed forest that "commission" usually is, up our way.
