Description
This tiny grasshopper was less than an inch (2 cm) long. Found him on our back deck. It looks like he only has one antenna because the closest antenna is pointing at the camera. Do zoom.

Superb macro, fantastic details. Fortunately, he was sitting quiet for a moment.
very good macro
I love the very beautiful textures on his 'coat', this does look a bit like the textures and colours, a snake has. What a beautiful nature shot, Dana.
wonderful shot

Insects can be such cute and fascinating creatures up close. :) Did he jump away and say, "Hey! Don't you look at me!"
nice macro
A strange thing to say about a bug, but it's so cute!
