Description
Special Notes: Someone said the style of writing I've been using in the current story, Gunslingers, Book II, is called Roving. Never heard of it, I just started doing it because I wanted to show small scenes from many people instead of big scenes from one person. So anyway, I went to the Bookstore and looked up the roving style. Apparently the roving style is wrong, bad writer... bad writer. Why is it wrong? Because it feels like watching a t.v. show and panning from camera to camera and scene to scene. And any real author would employ the time tested blah blah blah there were many words and I stopped paying attention. Anyway, If I'm doing it wrong, then I must be on the right path.... oh yea... bad writer!

Then I am a bad reader because I like the way you are writing it. If everyone followed the "right" way books would be boring as heck! Zam is leading you down the more interesting path.
I like this a lot! I bet if it were big and on a wall, I'd have to stand and stare at it for a week or something just to see all the detail, the color changes, the brush strokes. The way you've used light and shadow is great. Well ... it's what I expect from you, 'cause you're a kick-ass artist! I've never heard of "roving" as a literary style, and when I looked it up on the web I couldn't find anything about it. I always thought what you're doing is called "third person omniscient," and it's a well-known and well-accepted literary voice. Go for it!
It's called that too, run the search: roving pov novel writing style
WOW... Marvelous image ... Outstnadingly done my friend... It's an awesome creation !
A lot of words and images has flowed past this remarable bridge in the last couple of years, every word and scene has been very special! Did you know roving is a long and narrow bundle of fiber. Rovings are produced during the process of making spun yarn from wool fleece, raw cotton, or other fibres. What that has to do with writing is beyond me, as most things are. So people may call that yarn, oops, maybe it does have sometning to do with writing after all! Lol :() ! Write the way you want, its your story!
As I see it, you're not doing it wrong. I like your style and hope that you keep it up with the stories Great scene, BTW. Another great writer used the same technique in his series: E.E. "Doc" Smith when he wrote the Lensmen series
Fantastic scene, just love it, outstanding work! I like the way you are writing, don't see a thing wrong with it. Never heard of roving myself. But when It come to writing there are many styles, some are accepted by many and some aren't, I guess it depends on what schooling you received.
