Very cool POV
Ok, guess I should have read it all, since I know just where this is. In fact, I think it was one of the MANY places we visited on our trip up there in April. I saw so much I've lost track of it all, and isn't that the perfect vacation?? I love this POV, gives you more of a sense of where you are.
Very atmospheric. It reminds me of a Mayan ruin. And on the left, was that a door at one time? Needs some serious rehab.

I like this version too auntie. Probably more so, this is a classic POV/idea that you nailed.
The disintegration pattern on that old metal door, the discolored stonework & the scattering of leaves all combine to convey a powerful mood of abandonment & neglect. A dramatic POV & a very effective composition...
My imagination could run away in a place like that, so many ghosts running around trying to tell a story.

Wow, so abstract!! Great catch.
You know those old images of The Future, where everything has a slightly abstract look, and there are these bizarre bits of Euclidian Geometry just sitting around, apparently at random? This reminds me of that, only it isn't The Future, since that's one of those things that never happened, and yet that curved pedestal/amphitheater seating thing made me think of one of those things that never got built because The Future took a left turn somewhere, and now we've got a present that's actually stranger. But anyway, I digress. I love this shot, especially in contrast to its companion. This has a poetic, haunting quality to it, and makes me also think of one of the abandoned Martian cities in Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles. This is simply superb and I love that ruin of a door.
