what a wonderful monument ! great capture and pov
Great monument!!!
I've heard about this memorial and seen it in photographs before but it's great to see it through your lens and I think it's a very attractive work, neither boring or over the top or too sentimental....it's not overly complex and has dynamism. Nice work. For those over the pond or maybe do not know about this piece.. it's a memorial to Jon Egging who was a pilot with the elite red arrows team who sadly died in a freak accident during a show in Bournemouth when he blacked out due to excessive G-Force conditions and did not come around quick enough to pull out of a crash which sadly took his life. A very nice memorial to a lost member of this team of pilots who amaze us constantly on TV at events and at shows around the world.
This is a very beautiful memorial! perfect display in this light Great capture
Wonderful pic Andrea
What a fantastic way to remember him. Well done on the lighting here.
Beautiful.
I like this sculpture... very nicely shot, and the moon in there is especially nice. Lovely light.
You've framed it perfectly, and the background really sets it off well. Lovely shot!
Excellent capture of this amazing sculpture. In all a perfect shot. !
Amazing capture Andrea. God bless.
Both are super pics of this brilliant memorial Andrea.
Super shot Andrea. Looking forward to seeing the Red Arrows display over Torbay in a couple of weeks time :)
An amazing sculpture and classy memorial, captured beautifully too I still see 3 legs of a giant squid at first sight though. It's just my perception, no disrespect intended at all. Sculpting the smoke trails is so difficult I suppose.
What an interesting sculpture & your framing & the soft, subtle lighting provides a very appealing setting for it...
I remember this and the story. England's version of our Blue Angels. An elegant design and well captured.
Very touching with the moon included!
Very interesting and elegant monument... (I wish the monuments around here were so evocative, elegant and pretty looking)... And great shot... There is the moon too!
