Description
There was a thump on the window & I looked out & saw this little bird. It had obviously flown into the window, I could see it had stunned itself, its eyes were glazed & its little mouth was taking in the air.
I went outside to keep him safe while he recovered, which is what he did after a while & flew away.
Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

glad the cute little bird made it.. nice shots.
That's a cute couple of shots and a happy ending to a worrying event. I doubt if Mr Buck would have been so generous if he had been first to come across the little fellow, especially had it been before dinner or tea. We don't see as many sparrows as we did in the 60's and 70's.
Glad the bird was ok,I get them regular doing it some survive some don't :( This is only as the the reflection in the window make the trees look a lot further than they actually are.I have taken to hanging up a wind chime in my window to distract them,so far it has worked.
You can buy very cheaply a couple of hawk and falcon window stickers that put them off.
Aww poor thing. Fortunate that you found him and not Mr. Buck ;)
Glad he is ok!! I think it's still a young bird!!
Glad that you were able to keep this little one safe until full recovery was achieved Good photos
He look starving..... Nice pic Thank for all ((5++))
S/he is cute! Did Mr Buck spot it?
What an adorable little guy he is indeed, Barbara. Bless your heart for watching over him until he had time to recover.
Cute little bird, glad it wasn't injured, outstanding captures!
That was nice you protected it until it was able to fly away!
