Ok. I know it's not the best image, after seeing all your fantastic bug shots, but this winged friend was resting on the parapet of my parents balcony. He was just posing and asking to be photographed.
As a partial excuse I can state that I have not a real camera, only my pink toy that the thieves forgot to take away when they visited my flat =.=

Well, a nicely composed photo of the winged creature, thieves and toy camera not withstanding. At least you have insects where you are. All I have are a few ants, bees and wasps.

Nice capture..Butterflies are always difficult as they tend not to fully open their wings, unlike moths who mostly lay flat. Thanks for all your comments on my moths..I did answer them all but I don't think that replies get passed on...Have a great day.
