You never really never know what these contest really want and if we don't Vote it does not count I my self stopped entering contest years ago and not that I kept losing I would get 1st,2nd or 3rd only 3 entries and nothing's worst than everyone saying afterwards if they had known there was a contest the would have voted or entered.

I looked at all the entrees during the contest, when I saw this, I instantly thought it was yours. You've put the Girl in a lot of photo shots where you get the shadows to lay the right way and just as important, the shadow comes out looking like the shadows in the photo (same shade).... Just that technique alone should of gotten this image awarded a spot in the 95 images that were selected. ...my image didn't make the top 95 either - disappointing. one third of the images posted made it to the second round - so that stings more than anything. I know your image and mine would of made it to the second round if they did an "art wars" voting. I hope some day their contest will be run that way where the viewer decides between this and that and the better pieces climb to the top. Your image is sweet, love the lighting, shadows, pose, expression... if they do this again next year, I think if you put her on a pageant stage with a sash on her, I think you'll place - even though you should of been in the top and awarded to go to the second round. I would of voted for ya, but someone had to vote for me, so I had my hands tied - lol ....I posted 15 minutes before the deadline, last page... yeah, not a good placement - lol.... but, I had one thing going that NO ONE ELSE did... on the thumbnail, EVERYONE put a portion of the image in the upload, no words.... I had words from the t shirt - the only one with words, I thought that might get me some looksees, maybe a vote or two.... nah.... I used my old computer, I used Jessie.... I thought my image looked hot, but the V4, 5s, 6s.... ah, she can't compete with them, I knew it, but if she would of gone on, I would of been thrilled... next year, hopefully I'll have my computer up and running and I'm going for it... I want to be a man and win "Miss Renderosity" - lol.... hell, I might even put some makeup on when I make next years entree - lol... next year, we'll get 'em - lol

Fabulous as always.. She is tops in my book didn't know till yesterday there was even a contest on then saw the number of entries and that blew me away.. Guess there will be a lot of sad people now as every one thinks theirs is the best, They must do or wouldn't send it in lol.. Yeah Rod. I agree. You look through the list of 95 winners and you come to realize that SOMETHING is wrong. There are indeed a few are are WTF images for sure. Makes be believe what someone posted in commentary on the MR contest page - that people solicit votes from friends and family. I realize that many people are not fans of The Girl like we are but seriously, WTF?! I don't claim to be the best 3D artist by any means but mine didn't even place either and then I see these WTF images that DID place and I am shaking my head. I agree with Mike. Yours should have place WAAAAAAAAAY before most of those that did. This image is a beauty Rod. Awesome work.

This was on my shortlist I love the Girl (all editions) she looks fantastic. The scene is lovely and the shadows and lighting are beautifully done. An awful lot better than some who got through.

I think for next year's competition Rendo should have something like a star rating or some other kind of preferential system.

Damn you did awesome, friend, honestly I'm not a fan of the Girl, but some do look very nice, like yours... the thing I really like about your image is that you had a perfect pose, smile, and lighting that matched your photo, mostly the shadows look exactly like the shadows in the picture. This is damn nice, and it's a damn shame it didn't make the cut! I really wish we had honest voters, we would've actually had a chance, though still there were so many that were very competitive. I just knew I wouldn't make the cut cause of popularity, but knew I would've had a chance if there were only "un-biased" judges who picked the best ones out of the bunch, but I entered anyways.
