Description
Early this morning I saw Mama Mississippi Kite leave the nest and land in a nearby tree. So I got this shot of her on the left.
I looked for Junior and he wasn't in the nest but in a branch about 5 feet northwest of his perch yesterday. So he must have used some wing flapping and hopping to get there. One step closer to taking to the air for the first time!
