I love the surreal aspect of this piece. It looks so foreboding. It looks like a dark water color, which makes feel even more apocalyptical. And it begs the question: is it post- apocalyptic, a harbinger of things to come, or just the quality of the world we have poisoned? This one really makes you think, and that's the best art of all. One of the consequences of global warming is a heat wave, and one of the aspects of a heat wave is the pollution it causes as the baked stagnant air linkers and linkers day after day, with no relief even at night. That's what causes so many of the deaths. Gas masks may become common in the not too distant future...Good message and well illustrated.
