Description

Yes, it is a very close Pastel painting of a photo I will show you later on. Had troubles making the pastel stick to this sanded paper. I really like velour paper better. Not worth a zoom. Thank you for viewing and commenting. Now I will try to sleep in this hot room. I am glad i have a musquitonet in my window as in intend to keep it open. Atleast it is only 20C = 68F outside with humidity on 84%. In here it is 25C = 77F SIGH !!

Tremendous impact! I do love the bold composition, and the colours. I've not tried that sort or paper, and as you know I can't do soft pastels!! We had a horrible hot night here too. Ralph is extremely stressed by thunder, and starts shaking and panting an hour before I can hear it. I had to get onto his bed with him two nights running and lost four hours sleep last night!

So lovely this painting, Helle. I'm curious at the photo of it. Oh I'm really jealous of you, you can open a window into the night. Here is too much noise to do so. Now here it is about 35 degrees, and the drops of sweat flowing down my face continuously. :P

That's a beautiful piece of work and certainly deserves a zoom view... you are being too hard on yourself here...I love it.

This is so beautiful! You know how much I like this sort of view ... the closest part, the smallest part ... it's wonderful! I'm sorry to hear you didn't like working with the paper, but oh my ... the result is glorious!!

A lovel pastel work! I always liked the way soft pastel looks on black construction paper, you might try that sometime? I have been sleeping with two fans blowing directly on me at night; that does help in the heat. We've cooled off a little for now, more heat on its way though...
