Great capture I guess it would be pointless at this time to sweep it off?
Fantastic shot Andrew. You know what would be a cool idea? Setting up on a tripod, and then going down the end of the walkway, and including yourself in the shot. Mind you without a radio controlled shutter release, you'll have to move like lightning to get there before the 10 second timer fires :)
Looks like some big wave action there; lots of sand to be swept back off the pier. Great capture! ANd if you do try Ronnie's suggestion, make sure you don't overshoot your mark and only end up with a shot of your feet as you sail off the pier into the water...
