Brilliant shot, Mike! I did something similar at Battery Park!
We had a big cylinder-shaped one several years ago to try and take care of nature's little flying vampires known as mosquitoes... Anyway, we were sitting on the porch one night when a big June bug flew into it... Talk about a fireworks display.... Cool shot, Mike - I love the blue light. I like the bat house idea.
oooh, bats are cool, yeah, get a house for them! the blue light is eerie in this!
This is the kind of light you see just before you run into a zombie or vampire. I'd suggest a geko but I don't think they could take the Washington winters.
Eerie lighting, definitely a setting for the appearance of an Alien critter, like an Ed Wood flick. Excellent image!!!!!
Nice shot Mike.
wonderful night shot
The old zapper must have caught a disease - I hope it's not insectious !!!
Awesome shot, Mike!!
Spookie, love it
Great capture Mike !!!
I need to get myself one of those zappers, Mike.

Brilliant shot
Amazing capture!
I really loved this !! lovely light blue !!
I need to get a new one too....mines gone. Aloha
Oh yeah, ditch the zug bapper and go for the bat house!! Hmmm .. can you de-activate the bapper part and just keep the light? Makes for some really cool pics!!
Great capture!
Interesting capture!! x
A bug zapper and a six pack... that's good entertainment.
Cool shot! Do they work?
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
That should slow them down with a zap!! Cool capture Mike!!
very suggestive !!!
COOOOOOOOOOOOL image Mike! I like the exposure. Nice! Love the blue light. I can remember seeing MANY of these when I was a kid. The toads and tree frogs often hand around under them to catch an easy supper.
great shot
EERIE LIGHT
Great idea...here on the river they install a dozen much bigger and 10 ft long at 20 ft in the air...we have no more billions insects,,lolll ;-)
I did have one (attic) but have not used it for some time. I left a sticky tube up for a couple of years and even got a bird feather stuck to it. then I threw it away
