I haven't seen a moth like this before, Beautiful thanks for sharing!
Beautiful macro!!
Moths can be as beautiful as a butterfly, you have captured this moth so well.
A few battle scars, very pretty though!!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
A little worse for wear ? sounds just like us here in St.Gallen ! We are sharing a glass of Bordeaux and wish you were here, but thinking of you and saying CHEERS dear Andrea ;-) BB & €:;@ oops a big mistake, we mean Priska ps sorry, we are a little under the weather.....
BTW - nice picture!
Worse for wear or not this is still a super capture.
OH, What a pretty little one. And an excellent shot too :)
GREAT CAPTURE
great bug shot
So dramatic! I think I like this even better than the spotted one.
You do have the luck. First the children and now the adult. The larvae have been known to turn cannibalistic so perhaps they took a chunk out of mom? You've captured this one in all its bedraggled glory. Great work.
Nice macro !!!
Great capture Andrea
Very lovely!
These are my favourite of the moth species, but once again, sadly now rare in London.
There it is! If I'd just looked a little farther in your gallery after seeing the picture of the caterpillars, I would have discovered that this moth comes from them (and I wouldn't have had to go bouncing off to Wikipedia, which yielded the same result but cost me more time. ;-) Anyway, your photos have provided me with a day in which I have learned something, which is always the preferable kind of day. :-D Thanks for posting! Great capture here!
Beautiful red color in this capture!
