Die eer komt natuurlijk in de eerste plaats toe aan de auteurs van de formules: Toby Marshall met zijn onvolprezen Doodads II waarmee zulke patronen en ruimtelijke effecten mogelijk zijn en niet te vergeten Tom Lowe, die het algortime van de Mandelbox schreef. Daaruit leidde ik weer een variant af: de Mandelsquare voor UF.
