Description
Andrea would love this part of the show, captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
They even had Arabian Nights shoes.
ZOOM for best detail.
Totziens.

You are so right, Harry! I would indeed, what a lot to investigate.
A fascinating collection of shots of the goods for sale, Harry; colourful and well-crafted, there are some of those shoes I'd love to have! The dresses are lovely, but not really practical in my life. The armour I could probably use! Great work here!!
E X C E L L E N T series here ! splendid idea ! wonderful panorama about outfits and shoes and robes !!! con,gratulations !!!
Interesting dress wear. Aloha
interesting shots!!
The dresses are rather like the ones Debbie wore on our Wedding Day! Neat shots mate, Great series. Rob
I've so liked your marketplace shots in this Faire series, I did a search and found all the ones you've so-named. And I didn't comment on this, so here I am! (I thought I'd caught up, back in early July, but I apparently missed something...) Love this as much. I recognize the sights---they're in at least one other marketplace montage too---and you managed to get real variety in each shot. The 1st is more wonderful vertical study, I just love the confluence of all those hue-laden and style-laden hanging clothes. And there's Rob's mysterious blond lady again. And you have the little rectangles atop the canopy "framing" the shot. (I know there's a name for those white rectangles atop, but I haven't a clue what it is. "Teeth"? I have no idea.) This is also punctuated by tassles and strings/cords all over the place. This could be an upload by itself. Your 2 shoe shots are fascinating, in opposite diagonals for balance. What an array; and yes, Arabian Night shoes, alongside an Arabian Night sandal (#3), and some long men's shoes (the topmost shoe in #2) that look like they'd be rough for anyone with need of arch support---and who didn't have a foot that was 60 feet long, lol. (Some of these shoes are LONG!) Nice capture of the angle of shoe displays against the display boxes behind them. And the last two give "air" to the market, via suspending big opulent dresses in air---in the last one, we can see the pantaloons underneath. (I assume those are pantaloons. They're some kind of undergarment.) And some beautiful tree branches all around. A wonderful collection, real variety in visual language, and filled with rhythms and very rich color/texture variations. This is a wonderful sub-series.
