Description
Did this in either 1986 or 1987, to be used for the cover of a fantasy gaming periodical. As with my earlier 'Lord of the Elements', this was inspired by the Tarot, an absolutely fascinating repository of symbolic images.
The 16th card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot, the Tower shows a tower struck by lightning with two figures falling from it. Here I have attempted a fresh interpretation of the imagery based on my own imagination. :)
