Interesting shot. The first for me too, though to tell the truth I like them more just growing in grass.

And a first for me too; who knew? Wow, that's all we need, the little ones are bad enough popping up everywhere, can't imagine if they were trees! Great capture!

Quite good composition :)

What a great find! I had no idea they could grow this large. I spent much of my childhood pulling them out of my parent's lawn.
And a new one to me as well Jeff, a Dandelion tree huh? Well I never! Good shot, thanks! Rob
LOVELY
What a very special plant and photo, Jeff. Of course, I too have never heard of this kind of Dandelion, and I now have read about it, that it grows only high in mountains, there where less people live, except older peoples who use this plant. What I've learned too is, that the word dandelion comes from the French "dent de lion" meaning "lion's tooth" because of its long, coarse-toothed, leaves. It's great that you have posted it, Jeff.
A great shot and I am as surprised as you! Maybe grown near a nuclear facility! :o)
