Andrew (blinkings) posted a comment about my last post “It Doesn’t Sound Very Appetizing” that gave me a good laugh. It did prompt me to post this image today instead of later.
The people of Iceland are superb environmentalists. They are very big on water conservation to the point of providing options for you in the bathroom/water closet/loo.
So what will it be, big flush or little flush?

Cool idea. I think I like it. There probably should be a third setting for those people who need the pressure of a fire hydrant to make everything go down. :)

The toilet I had put in the duplex when I remodeled in 2009 had two settings. If you just pushed the handle and released it right away, it was a little flush. Push and hold for a couple seconds, big flush. It's amazing what they can come up with these days!
These are getting more common here, thankfully.
