The guys find a nice high class motel and request a room with two queen sized beds. They get up to their room and find it also has a nice hot tub as well, not mentioned by the check-in clerk. Reed phones down to the concierge and asks if it is possible to rent a limosine and driver for the night. The concierge makes the arrangements and phones them when the limo arrives. The driver is very knowlegable about the city and takes them to some of the best hot spots. The guys have a blast dancing and partying and getting to know John better. Near the end of the night, the limo driver winks as he tells Reed of a nice quiet bar not far from their motel if they are interested. The guys all nod in the affirmative. Since it is only a few blocks from where they are staying, Reed settles up with the driver and gives him a nice big tip. It is almost closing time when walk through the door. The bar is nearly cleared out with only a few patrons left. Most of them are dancing like crazy to the juke box. Skylar goes up to the bar and buys three beers and brings them back to their table. While he is up there, a cute blond guy checks him out and looks over at Skylar's table. A shocked look crosses his face. After Skylar gets back to the table with their beers, the blond guy walks over to them. 'Aren't you John Trembley?' he asks John. At first John looks embarrassed and confused. He isn't used to cute guys talking to him so openly let alone having them know his name. Then a look crosses his face and he says, 'Yes, I am! Are you David Walker?' 'I sure am! My god, you sure filled out nice! I remember what a scrawny kid you were when we were in grade school together. How long has it been? 5 years or more?' 'I often wondered what happened to you, Dave!' says John. 'After you and your folks moved away I never heard anymore about you!' 'Well, here I am in the flesh, boy! And here you are in a gay bar! I never had any idea you were gay. That was one of the reasons we left town. My folks couldn't handle it when I came out to them. They figured it was just easier to move to a bigger town where their 'shame' could be hidden in the hustle and bustle of city life.' 'Well, sit down, Dave and let me introduce you. My cousin Skylar and his steady, Reed from San Diego.' They finish their beers just as the bartender calls last call. They decide to go back to the motel. Reed asks Dave if he wants to come back there with them. He says he'd love to. He and John are hitting it off pretty good by now, talking over their grade school days together and catching up on what came after that. The get back to the motel and wind down the night with non-stop conversations. The sun starts to peek over the horizon just as they finally all roll into bed.
