We have a wild one that grows out here called the 'Mexican Golden Poppy'. They appear in early spring especially if we had good winter rains. Not sure if they are the same genus.
fraaie compo en prachtige kleuren
A beautiful composition, i like the colours and the background!
Goed gezien.
Inderdaad een prachtige kleur en compositie!!!!!!!!!!!
Peter Piper picked a peck of purple poppies to photograph. Great color, focus and composition in this field capture, Martin. Actually, the poppy looks a dark pink or magenta rather than purple.
what an excellent photo! nice colors and point of view.
Great composition !!! Lovely background.
Beautiful, outstanding capture!

Nicely wrapped!
Amazing close-up, good composition!
A lovely combination of flower and seed pod! I like this violet color - they are mostly orange, red and purple over here!
