Yes my wishes to Carin for dawning light and peace for her troubles. A very loving giving person. And it's another very sweet flower shot from you. Lineups of flowers or plants seem challenging to me, because it can seem very pedestrian, or it can seem too rigid like a lineup without individual 'presence'...I'm not saying it very well, but it seems to be an aesthetic that can trip-up a lot of artists me being one of them. This lineup is clearly one specie, repeated, but you have enough space, varied tilts, and plays of light and shadow to make this a really interesting gathering. It's almost like a human shot. And your crop zeroed-in on the blooms (zeroed-in again), as you chose a short height perfectly. Perfect crop. Also, you got two white flowers in there, which is a very nice touch. A very sweet gathering of flowers, standing outside and kibbutzing, and each maintaining their own identity. And your light is wonderful throughout. Ok I'm giving you another link...but for comparison. This is a famous painting of persimmons, either Chinese or Japanese, and it was often used as an example, in courses, of how to make a "line-up" feel like individuals: where each persimmon has a slightly different feel, each one has its own personality. Look at the right-most one: It's barely painted in, but it's there all the same. Just for discussion. How to make several same things feel vital and also fun.
