Looks like the law lost in this one. Hot... a lot of hot elements in this scence... the sky, the sun, the snake rattle, the parched earth, the crawling on the ground point of view and the strong use of almost a monochromatic red that gives no eye relief, except for the defiant flowers.

This picture is gorgeous....that perfect red desert color, a sunset drenched in blood and fire, coloring the landscape like the surface of Mars. A forgotten, desolate place. I love the skull and the flowers coming out where the eye had been, perhaps a bit of defiance there, or a little beauty in the wasteland. And the snake is lovely...protective perhaps...a symbol of wisdom surviving loss. And the old lawman's star tells us a lot about this nameless, forgotten skull. Such beautiful work, I love it!! I feel an interesting story behind this scene.... There was one creature who killed the sherrif and... one who loved him in a way, to us, how the story was going. A great image! Gr,Rudy.

I think the flowers and the sheriff's badge are interesting. It looks really hot there. Everything flows together really well, it looks like it was shot on site/not manipulated which is key. It's awesome!
