Description
There were many of these handsome pollen eating beetles with the Vespa Scooter legs on the dog walk yesterday.
In some ways it is easier to take insect photos without Buster: he vanished off on some mission or other when ever I took my eye off him!
Now when I look up I still have all my dogs.
See a female Here

Very very well taken !
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
I have not seen any of these this year here (Yet) Green thick legs are not common anyway in sarf lundun. I did get a close up of one a while back if you recall? This is a super image Andrea.
Beautiful pic
Interesting critter!!!
Superb shot. Fantastic details and the colours look fascinating.
Special in every way Andrea and zoom is even more special.
What a beautiful insect and it is standing on the right colored flowere to look even better :)
He's awfully handsome, especially those metallic thighs! Great shot!
Nature is grand. beautiful
Beautiful colours Great captures
Obviously been hitting the leg weights at the gym. And what a gorgeous metallic color. It fits perfectly with the yellow background. I knew the other image was of a female. She has such dainty legs.
What a beauty.
Beautiful insect, and great detail in this shot and the other one too. Can't quite identify the friend in that one.
A beauty, this photo. Here I saw also a lot of these green scooters, they are funny, huh?!
If I were metallic green, I would sit and preen in the sunshine on a yellow flower all day, just waiting for someone to come by and make me famous! :) He's beautiful!
He has more vibrant colors and I love the saddlebags - she is sort of plain. Two excellent photos!
Awesome close up of this bug.
