Well spotted! Very nice! Chrissy says hello! :) She is taking shots now and then but not like me these days. We hope to get out to Maine this Summer. That will get us many photo opps. She is actually heading home to see her family. Schedules and expense make it impossible for me to go this time. Air fare to UK is through the roof with our poor dollar, etc. Hope I can keep house for the 10 days she is gone.

The reflection of the stairs in the window is so amazingly beautiful, as well as all the lines in this picture are fascinating, a photo with good balance and attention, my dear friend.

I've related to this in several ways by now, so I feel like I've already commented. (And kudos to mark for noticing the defacing---lol, it really is a nervy addition!) But as for your pic: An unusual perspective shot, as the fanning-out is 3/4 of the shot, and it's done with that beautiful wood and glass facade. Your work with dark glass (dark light 'on' glass, not dark-tinted glass) is superb throughout your gallery; and here we see it make the glass like deep black accents in contrast to those beautiful bright doors. And the dark also allows the reflections to show crystal-clear. The overhang and sidewalk encase this beautifully, and the highlight, wayyyyy back there, is the person in the back, almost out of frame, in front of a burst of light---also almost out of frame!---and a "one way" sign that beams. Great inclusion! And your crop intensifies it by cramming it all in "at the last minute". A journey. I love this shot. And having worked with this in my blend of your images, and having seen it in yours, I feel I've been on a trip with it. Terrific work, Tara.
