Description
The remains of an engine house that once housed a Cornish Beam Engine. These engines were used to pump water and haul tin and copper ore from the mine.
This one is near St Agnes, North Cornwall.

I recognise this engine house Steve !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the one located in the Chapel Porth Valley, St. Agnes by the name of Wheal Lawrence ! One of my favourite places -- especially when all the heather is in full bloom. Did you walk along to Wheal Coates ?
