Description
A bit late, I know, but this beautiful creature reminded me of my mother. She quite ferociously guarded her chicks from any possible harm. My mother would ,and did, take on anyone to protect her children. If you were good to us kids, she was a friend for life. If not, well... lets just say it was NOT pretty.
She has been gone or 11 years. She was responsible for my great love and respect for animals. What a wonderful gift she gave me. Hope all of you moms had a wonderful Mother's Day.
