Here you see the ruins of the castle with the South West entrance in the background. Sir Walter Raleigh once lived here.
This was taken yesterday.

wonderful photo! I really like the ruins of the castle used as a separation between sky and meadow with a beautiful cloudy sky
Beautiful ruins.. I can't help myself by finding them most intrigent wonderful shot..
Super sky! I think I would try a crop with much less foreground.
I have to agree with you Andrea and what I also find is that reducing the image, so much for RR, makes it appear out of focus. I can assure you the original is sharp!!
What a lovely sky , it almost looks like it is in 3D
Must agree with Andrea. Try cropping a little at the top and a bit more from the bottom to give a nice panorama feel, BRILLIANT SKY AND LOCATION.
Every time I see ruins I try and imagine them in their glory days
a wonderful fixer-upper for the handyman! Great capture
Nice shooting Jeff, sometimes you just got to centre mate, although a crop to thirds would lend this more, I personally think it is still a great shot :)
Interesting ruins and a fantastic sky. Great shot Jeff.
Fascinating ruins & a dramatic sky. Agree with the comments about cropping out a good chunk of the grass...
Wonderful pic Jeff
Great view of these wonderful ruins.
Great photo... awesome sky too.
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Beautiful dramatic sky over the remains of what was once likely a lovely place; personally I like the ruins in their ruined state, but that's probably just because we don't have them here and I find them fascinating. Lovely photograph!
Fantastic image. I like very much the colors
Well done!
I see a chimney, must have been a big kitchen near by... stunning ruin and view!
have you heard the old joke about some smart ass calling a store and asking if they have Sir Walter Raleigh in the can? if the store says yes then the caller will say."well you better let him out" this among the best representations I have seen of the castle. very good work
big differ from the drawing but this is how it is today
Very beautifully done. The turbulent clouds are a perfect backdrop.
Fantastic capture my friend !!!
Long, long ago in the ancient past, I once was here lol Great place and a super shot. Rob P.S. Am getting no e-bots at the moment so bit hit and miss with comments, bear with me.. Have told Rendo but nothing sorted yet! Rob
speechless! what an awesome and special cloudformation! makes the capture of the impressive ruins alive and dramatic! without the ruins and trees only it could be incredible also! ;o)
Fascinating place. Excellent atmosphere and POV.
beautiful image
A wonderful wide view of the ruins and I think that I see your POV from yesterday's fantastic photo!
