Description
Anyone who has followed me for a while knows that I have been chasing animals with little success. Either I can not get close enough for a decent picture or they run away before I can trip the shutter. I accidently stumbled upon the secret while walking with my stepmother recently.

A compelling gaze! I never realised these odd birds are so very colourful, and he certainly is most attractive ! So, Mark, what is the secret? I can only do insects.
the Beau Brummel of the bird kingdom
Beautiful capture Mark! What IS the secret?
I would expect to have a problem with a photo that cropped out a large part of a bird's beak, but it seems to work in this case. Great colors, textures & detail & those eyes are very intense...
Wonderful image !!
Whatever your secret is, this image certainly proves it works! :) This is terrific!
Fantastic ´portrait, He's really handsome (in the opinion of the Pelican Girls, of course)
