Panspermia ---------- by XOTT created: 1-May-2014 created with: Vue 12 ("Vue 2014 Complete") and rendered in, postwork to change overall color tones etc. ================================ about: ------ Panspermia: is the hypothesis that life exists throughout the Universe, distributed by meteoroids, asteroids, comets and planetoids. (...and little greeblies that can last the hostile & long journey through space.) This started out as playaround since my head's been all over the place lately and I'm feeling unwell and in pain. Postwork consisted of changing overall colour tones to get the over-bold look I wanted (ie. orginally the sky was blue and that's not very alien. ;-)), and I also had to manually scribble in some more purple mist to obscure some quite unsightly rectangular patches of (wood grain?!) texture which looked completely out of place on one type of the alien plant life. (that's how it comes straight out of my VUE library files). BTW, I'm not really sure if this image comes under fantasy or abstract since it's kinda both. Z. ================================ items used: ----------- * Thingy by S L F --FREEBIE-- (BRYCE object and untextured OBJ) sharecg.com : (I used this for the 'things' in the upper right and lower left of my image.) (textured with below) * VUE materials from "Organic Mat Bundle" (is that it's name?) Cornucopia3d store (I modified and used the "brain" & "dragon skin" materials on the terrain, sphere's, and the 'thingy's'.) note: I just used the 'alien' plants from my VUE's content library that was supplied with my particular copy of VUE. Some of these items I believe are purchaseable ones from the Cornucopia3d store. ================================ ================================
