Description
"Just hold it there ! - and please, don't move" I said to the Real Estate Agent, who was inspecting our property last week,
" I must get my camera, it's not every day I come across a butterfly of this size" ...
Let me tell you, it was huge! - and - it was still there when I zoomed in, ahh ... the pleasures of finding a living treasure, I even found the Latin name for it : 'Papilio fuscus' ...
He ? or a she ? - I haven't got a clue - but it made my day, possibly not the agent's, he probably thought I was slightly nuts, leaving him standing there to his own devices, for a Butterfly! ;P
BTW - it was sitting on a Guava bush, near the Clear-water-tank.
[that means, for those un-initiated with the process of grey water from the laundry & bathroom, it is cleared and filtered by this tank, and which is then being distributed to all our native trees, planted by us to Council regulations]
Hope you like my efforts ;)
Cheers Brigitte

He/she is a beauty BB. Hope you are well soon.
Beautiful. I only see these at the butterfly house at the zoo!
You were there at the right moment, Brigitte! What a beautiful and rare capture! I love it! Thank you for sharing your treasure!
It is extraordinary, dear Brigitchen, what a wonderful kind of butterfly you've met! And so good of you, you ran away from the agent to get your camera. I wanted to see the face of this gentleman. It is good that you let him feel, how beautiful the little things in nature are to be appreciated. A good lesson for him to look differently at his surroundings. I really admire you, about what you did, haha. I hope you will get a lot of new energy, dear. And if you have any of them too much, please, send some of it to me, I'm waiting for better days too. But you made me happy, by posting this fantastic, beautiful particular copy, my friend. Thank you for that. :)
Great both ways, awesome find/capture and then making the agent wait ! LOL Now I'm wondering which plant attracted this beauty...got to plant some more ! ~Cheers~

He should make your property even more attractive to a buyer! Fab pic, and much prettier that any estate agent.
Beautiful!! Any estate agent worth their salt will happily wait for you if they want to do business!!
This is a gorgeous capture Brigitte, well worth the effort!
In this country only America-hating Liberals use grey water recycling. Better watch out of you will get a bad reputation. {;-> What a fantastic capture of this gorgeous creature. And how nice of it to pose for you.
Wonderful capture. I'm not usually a fan of insects, but this one really is gorgeous, more like an animated flower than a bug.
geat photo, I have been trying to get a butterfly photo for ages,so hard when they wont stay still.
