While the sun has fallen and nighttime is nigh, Zam seeks comfort in Teddy and his ability to keep the DARK away from the shadows. That is his purpose and he is proud to protect Zam. Great scene

Maybe that's why I have a thing about Teddies. I never had a Teddy, or a doll when I was little to keep the dark away. I did have my books and a flashlight. (: A comforting image .. Zam, safe and sound with Teddy.
