Description
Stopped by Port Mayaca one evening just as the sun was setting. From this vantage, Okeechobee's huge lake looks more like the gulf coast rather than a body of fresh water. There was even a small beach just beyond the foreground rocks, mostly comprised of shells from the lake denizens. The little island adds a bit of interest, placed just below the sun as it was.
