Description
Nesting in the ivy between the Studio and the Dining Room.
Theye are safe there, I hope, but a nest in the hedge of Blackbirds with 4 healthy hatchlings was predated yesterday by probably a squirrel. The empty nest was on the ground, so I don't think it was a corvid this time

Beautiful capture!
This is a most lovely picture Andrea, beautiful colours and perfectly placed.
Nature is rough on families; what a fantastic shot of this busy little bird!
Super capture Andrea, the natural selection thing can jar the hardest heart, but is necessary
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
what a wonderful photo, so near and clear and with food! ... and so sad for the birds, I always keep our cat inside in the early morning, thats the time they are not very careful..
Great great shot !!!
wonderful capture Mother Nature knows what she's doing
Great shot.
Awe, he is a handsome fella.
What a lovely capture. I love robins. Excellent shot!
Always loved robin's.. such characterful little birds, always nice to see them in the garden. Memories of the halcyon days of the early 70's fishing as a kid.. they would hop on to the edge of the bait box and take their share of maggots... always threw them some in the winter when things were frozen. Fantastic shot of this little one with plenty of food for the family.
Stunning clarity and color captured by your TZ25 of the little robin redbreast and its milieu, Andrea.
This is just spectacular. Light, clarity and composition are all superb. Sad about the little ones though.
Great shot and he is catching lots of bugs so he must have chicks already.
Superb capture
This belongs on the cover of a bird book. What a glorious shot!
A fantastic photograph of this busy bird providing for the family. We have a different type of robin in the United States. Not as brightly colored as this.
I just adore the little English Robins! A lovely photo, and I so hope their family survives.
Wonderful capture of this colorful bird.
This is a very special capture, and the robin looks such cute and content. Thank you for sharing, it's a wonderful catch.
A lovely photo of the Robin and maybe a snack in his or her bill. I did not know that squirrels were carnivores.
