Description
Although this variety is useless for nectar and pollen collecting insects because of the flower type, I still love it for these understated blooms.
It took a while to get going but is this year covered in flowers.

so delicate and beautiful
Perfect!!!
Marvelous pink!
Bet those earwigs will still find a way in there eh? Lovely image.
both shots are delicate beauties, Andrea, the flickr is a full in-your-face bloom (with delicate gradated hues), and this one is a 'shy' bloom, very subtle and recessive; and you captured the water drops finely. Very nicely centered too; a very sensitive shot. We still have snow, so flowers are a thing of the future; but it's awfully nice to know that you, who live in a temperate climate, have them this early in the spring. This has a lovely deep pink hue.
Beautiful flower Andrea.
Stunning flower, delicate pink
the temps did rise a bit over night, but are to get cold again. Not bitter cold, just cold. It is a dull gray and dreary day with misty rain and dampness that goes right to the bone. So it is a pure delight to see this beautiful pink camellia, complete with rain drops! And green, wonderful lush green! It lifts my spirits today, thank you for this one!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
This is a most lovely picture and very well captured Andrea.
beautiful blossom Great profile
Simply loverly, this Camelia is. And so close in similarity to a rose. With all of that precipitation you received I'm not surprised by all the flowers.
A beautiful pale color and photo. A lovely color combination!
lovely
Wonderful colour.... nice shots too.
It's worth having anyway, isn't it? What a beautiful form and color this has! A lovely bit of springtime. :)
What a beauty , all the ones I've seen so far have been burnt by frost.
very nice rose photo
