Quite extraordinary.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Quite a fascinating fungi, wonderful captures. People in previous image comments stated it looks like brain sections albeit the colour is different and indeed it is like that... this is one you would not wish to mistake for Morel... it could be one's last mistake.. I would put this alongside the Destroying Angel purely as a precaution.
It does look very weird & quite eerie!!!
Interesting image! Great capture! :)
Yikes! What a sight at first glance! You have captured this specimen perfectly, my Friend! Every last detail and texture. Very unique and out of the ordinary... I've never seen something like this before! Thank you for sharing!
Great shot of the False Morel 2, a pretender to the throne of the Real Morel 2. The purple buggers are still at it hot and heavy in this wrestling match for control of I know not what, A.
Like a brain! Stunning shot!
I like them - both photos. They look so interesting! Google - here I come! :)
Braaaaiiiiinnnns! we need braaaaaiiiiinnnsss! Great and weird capture Andrea
You have some weird stuff growing in your garden.
I never have seen this !!!!
An amazing shot of this fungal growth.
What an odd little life form and strangely attractive. For some reason the flickr image put me in mind of the Venus of Willendorf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus_of_Willendorf
What a perfect specimen at first i thought it was grapes.
