Description
She is there again!!!!
A pic taken on the park a good few years ago. not a great one. My girls, Hattie & Carla 'B'. My friends Irish setter girls, Emma & Clodagh, my friend Janet & her afghan Jack & Alba & her two little beagles.
We often saw Alba & the Beagles on the park but she was usually looking for one or the other of them as they would be off chasing something.
Jack was a good friend of the girls especially Carla 'B', he adored her. Janet didn't like letting him off, (he was an Afghan after all), one day we took him & Carla, Emma & Clodagh into the donkey field as he couldn't get out of there. We kept the girls on the lead & he went free, I stood upto the fence, he came charging at Carla, she got worried came out of her collar & ran away from him with him in full chase. He kept trying to trip her up, (as he would do if he was hunting prey) & she kept falling & sometimes going head over heels. I worried in case she broke her neck, Janet couldn't get him back & I ran after them. I was SO, SO cross as I didn't want her hurt. When she finally could get back to me, Jack stopped & Janet caught him. She said to me "You were cross weren't you?" I told her I sure was!!!!
Needless to say that was the one & only time Jack went off on the park. Carla 'B' didn't hold a grudge though & they remained friends until Jack passed on.
Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

Great collection of dogs Barbara and of course Zlata had to put in an appearance didn't she ;-) Glad Carl B did suffer any injuries in the chase also would have been scary to see her being tripped.
Great group!
What memories! Time for another of your stories soon, i think.
Souvenirs of great moments ((5++))
Ah yes I see Zlata on a time travelling trip again... that's lots of dogs to handle. Wonderful memories.

I bet your heart was pounding for a while ! Glad neither of them got hurt
Very cool image....Hmmm, it seems little Zlata is checking things out, maybe learning about the history of the current girls and how you loved them.
good to look back and see the good times you had.
Beautiful collection of dogs, and friends.
A great looking group, but what a scare that must have been for you & Carla!
Oh my goodness I don't recall that one, you must tell me more when we meet up tomorrow. lovely shot of them all and hey Zlata is there again lol, hugs and love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
A delightful group of friends, including Zlata.
Well, Zlata has a wonderful ability to show up in photos taken in the past, and to show up in photos just taken, and to be almost anywhere she wants to be! Of course we know that Zlata is Magical, and that is why she be where she wants to be. I love that she showed up in this one, meeting all the pups that are in Heaven now. What wonderful memories you have to share .. and I too am glad that Carla B didn't get hurt. Isn't it wonderful how dogs just don't carry grudges?
I love old photos like this Barbara and a scary day on the park for you and Carla 'B'. I see Zlata snuck into another photo.
