Description

Rita (3grrrs) mentioned re the girls being alike & Truly was like them even if not related. Or words to that effect. However Truly is related to all the girls even though this maybe way back, that is why I have her because as with all breeds I don't like the way the Munsterlanders are going. I wanted the old breed lines not the new lines, as breeders are using dogs in Germany (yes I am aware they are German dogs) but the German dogs are, in my opinion not as nice looking & I am not hot on their temperaments. Munsters in Germany are used mostely for hunting. They have to hunt deer & foxes as well as game birds so I expect perhaps they have to be sharper. Plus Munsters should have a black head, that is part of the breed, a little white is ok, but German dogs tend to pass a lot of white on the heads, I will find a pic & show you the difference, white changes the expression. Jenna's dad was a German import & she was so sweet but her dad killed my cat. (I know of a lot of other imports doing this) Pagan's dad was a German import & she didn't have the best of temperaments with other dogs, she was superb with people though. So I like to stick to the lines I know. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

It is a shame what some people are doing to different dog breeds! Your dogs are the beauties!

Yes, we had a conversation about how the breeds are going to hell in a hand basket just to satisfy "breed standards". But I won't go into my diatribe here, grins. I'm glad that line is still going, that the wonderful temperament is still there, and the beauty hasn't been destroyed. Three cheers for Truly and the old lines!!
