Description
Originally introduced in 1974, the Holden Sandman was the quintessential 'Shaggin Wagon' of the era! Imagine being a father and your daughter's new boyfriend turned up in one of these!!!!!!

I prefer 'passion wagon' myself. Or 'tart cart'. Mine was a Mk II Cortina Estate.
'Tart Cart'!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Nice shot mate. I spent a lot of time in one of these in the 70s, mainly in the back. Not quite as nice as this one though. A nice trip down memory lane, thanks.
Looks like a truck for a ffffantastic time. Nice bit of fun Andrew.
Wonderful capture interesting history
That's great
Excellent photo and the additional advertisements really add to help portray the appeal this vehicle must have had in your market. Very cool and unique vehicle.
I wanted a van, but believe me that a 55 Chevy had plenty of room in front or back. I bet he has trouble keeping rubber on the tires very sharp custom. I bet they could have sold the same style here
Very nice ride here Andrew, I believe I wouldn't mind having one of these in my garage. They would have sold great here so send it to me the sooner the better. Stan
Drool's then falls off chair !!!! Seriously mate sell everything you own and live the dream :)
