VERY COOL SHOT
Oh my, shades of the movie, Southern Comfort, Jock. I really like this pic of the Cajun fiddlers entertaining the crowd. Was anyone dancing while they were playing?
wonderful shot
Looks great, Jock! A wonderful shot of good times - it's easy to see how you're inspired to paint these scenes.
You caught a moment in history Jock. Things like this don't happen much anymore! A super capture!

Seems like a really neat little place to hang out in, Jocko! It has that very traditional feel about it, with a special atmosphere!

I remember when you were posting pics from that area, but I don't remember seeing this one. This is such a marvelous photo, I can practically here them playing!
Superb
Great capture erland
One of the things I love about your musician photography is its "real-ness". You do these with a total lack of showiness. They're very real. Having played with musicians many years, I know these moments very well: The musicians are all concentrated on the music; and the rest of the world is less important. In this shot, it looks like they're all focussed on something off to the right of the picture---like someone is singing there, or making noise, or maybe the band leader is there, if they have a leader...The musicians are relaxed; no one is hamming it up for the camera; and I agree with Helle, I love the violin that belongs to the lady in black. Also I love the off-kilter nature of the coffee shop itself---posters on an angle, a bit of a mess, the lone ranger off to the side---a real pot-pourri. A restful glimpse into music in the making. Very sensitive, and a delight.
Cool shot of everyday local life!
