Description
The Island of California off the coast of Nevada was oriignally part of Earth's United States of America until the great Earthquake of 2385 which caused an upheaval of the tectonic plates separating the landmass that was the state of California and creating the Nevada Mountains pictured in the background. Currently in 4386, California serves as the capitol of the Allied Continents of Earth or ACE for short. Washington DC is the former capitol of the United States but after an attack in 2077 by a Villain known as Maneater which killed millions most of the city was decimated beyond recovery. Now Los Angeles serves as the Capitol of not only the United States but all of Earth.

Science fiction indeed. Such an earthquake and the associated tsunamis would have completely destroyed the state. (It is true, though, that California is already a separate planet!)
I forgot to include the "Current" date for the image which would be 4386 LOL Wiped out or not 2,000 years would be more than enough time to recover yes? Thanks for your comment I really enjoyed the feedback and I'm glad you liked this image.
