Description
I just bought Carrara yesterday and this is my first image with it. The desk and chair set is one that came with Carrara. The character is Mike 5 (which came free with Carrara), posed in Daz Studio and imported into Carrara.
The map on the wall was made by me in Hexagon and UVMapped in UVMapper Pro.

Welcome to the world of Carrara. It's a big and complex one, but really rewarding once you're in it. Interesting pose and framing. Looks like you're well on your way.
Is it hard to work with?
No, not really. It's a bit different from Poser, but not too hard to figure out. I really like the way you can load and use Poser content in it too.
Nice image, especially for a first try. Though why pose in DS when you can pose in Carrara (which I actually find easier)? Welcome to Carrara, I'm sure you will grow to love it.
At the time I did the image I hadn't yet discovered that you can pose the figure in Carrara.
