Description
Thought awhile before posting this. Was rather exasperated with myself for failing to notice that the buildings were too small. The hesitation is in not wanting to overkill on a particular theme.
This has been an unusual time for me, this year. Normally, I have what I call a "High Manic" season that lasts from around January 1st until the middle of February. I get very little sleep but produce a massive amount of pictures, writing--anything creative. This year I've gotten little sleep and nothing for it. It's like my muse and creative energies have deserted me. Very frustrating!
Ah well. And so it goes.
I do thank all of you for your interest in my postings and especially your sage and honesst advice and encouragements.
Jeremy

Nicely done! My first impression was not that the buildings were too small....that they were just further away than you had probably intended. Very well done.
much better, well done
Very cool image!
I love those buildings, and I also hadn't noticed that they were too small, but rather assumed perspective effects meant they were further away. I like the composition as well, there's a nice balance to the overall scene.
I thought that the buildings were far away as well interesting scene & cool work hope your muse comes back to play with you
This one looks much better Jeremy...hope your creative spark ignites soon...it can be frustrating!
Very original beautiful art-work !!!!
Much better composition .. the houses are not too small, just further away. I looked at the original image, and this is definitely better. The first one was too crowded I think, so much lost in the busy feel of the image. This version is much more pleasing to the eye.
Magnifique scène et très beau décor!
Fantastic scene and characters! Hope your muse returns from vacation!
Excellent work! :)
Cool, I do think it's creative :)
Nicely done. This image gives the location a greater sense of scale, almost desolation, or at near least the edge of it...
special... I like the town. Would be worth a visit. Liked your comment on the empty space too Ha .. ha .. that is what city planners say too.. Empty spaces ... they are allergic to it. Still in the real city there are some empty spaces left :D grin
This one looks great! Muses are fickle creatures. She is probably laying on a beach somewhere with her feet buried in the sand.
Wonderful scene!
No, I think the houses are not to small. I see the village, the mount and the sky as one unit. All parts work very well together. Great atmosphere! Its nice to study all elements, the figures and things like this.
