Description
Many versions of the death of Ulysses. In the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, Inferno - Canto twenty-sixth, the poet imagines the last voyage of Ulysses (referring to the Latin version of Ovid), the ultimate challenge beyond the Pillars of Hercules. The company ends with the shipwreck caused by a huge vortex and death greek hero with all his companions.
